Surrey Board of Trade president off to China
Surrey Board of Trade President Mary Jane Stenberg, who is also the strategic advisor to the president for Kwantlen Polytechnic University, will be traveling to China and to India on the B.C. Premier's Trade Mission to Asia to build relationships for not only Kwantlen Polytechnic University, but also for the Surrey Board of Trade.
The purpose of the premier's Trip to Asia is to boost trade opportunities and spur job creation at home.
"This trip will also build on the chamber/board of trade/industry association partnerships and MOUs that the Surrey Board of Trade signed on our trade mission to India in April. This will continue the Surrey Board of Trade's International commitment on the ground in both China and India," said Stenberg.
The Surrey Board of Trade sent more than 100 delegates to China five years ago on a mission, and 25 delegates to India in April 2011.
