Input sought for Deltaport expansion
Port Metro Vancouver is inviting the public to comment on an environmental report related to its proposal to expand Deltaport.
The CEAA Screening-Level Environment Assessment Report was created as part of the environmental assessment for the Deltaport Terminal, Road and Rail Improvement Project.
The project would see the addition of another multi-berth container terminal at Roberts Bank, expanding the port's capacity by two million TEUs (twenty foot equivalent units) per year.
Comments related to the environmental assessment report will be accepted in writing until Friday, May 25. Visit portmetrovancouver.com for instructions.
Port Metro Vancouver will also be hosting an open house on their Land Use Plan on June 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at North Delta Recreation Centre.
