Walmart new home for fundraising Gift Wrap station
Need some help packaging your last-minute Christmas gifts?
The hard-working volunteers at the Canadian Cancer Society have got the task wrapped up.
Over the past 13 years, society volunteers manning the gift wrap station at Guildford Town Centre have raised more than $230,000. Most volunteers return year after year and are passionate about both gift wrapping and raising funds “by donation.”
But the group has moved from the corridors of the mall to inside Walmart.
The Canadian Cancer Society's 13th annual Gift Wrap is now located at the new Walmart just off 152 Street and 100 Avenue, at the back of the store (by baby wear).
For a donation to the cancer society, the dedicated volunteers will have your gifts expertly wrapped in no time.
Hours of operation are daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. until Dec. 24.
