The hottest show on two wheels, the Vancouver Motorcycle Show, opens its doors today (Jan. 17) as the world’s top manufacturers showcase the newest makes and models for 2013.

Produced by Power Sport Services, the Vancouver Motorcycle Show's line-up of manufacturers includes Arctic Cat, BMW Motorrad, Can-Am/BRP, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, KTM, Piaggio, Polaris, Suzuki, Triumph, Victory and Yamaha.

Surrey's Jim Bush will be bringing two classic bikes to the show as part of the Vintage Motorcycle showcase. This component is put on by the British Motorcycle Owners Club, of which Bush is a member.

Bush will have his MV Magni Race Replica on display, which will be the feature bike of the vintage showcase. The other is a 1952 Norton Model 7 Dominator.

Canadian Freestyle Champion Kris Garwasiuk – one of the first true pro FMX riders in the world – and Kris Foster will be performing Friday to Sunday in a Canadian Kawasaki-sponsored feature.

Also, watch performances from top motorcycle athletes, including trials demonstrations from 15-time Canadian National Superbike champion Jordan Szoke, and show-stopping freestyle stunts from Team Empire’s Ernie Vigil and Nick Brocha.

Bring the whole family down to visit the Yamaha Riding Academy for Kids, shop from hundreds of exhibitors, and take a break to relax in European style at the Honda Scooter Café.

Saturday is She Rides Night, when ladies can enjoy half-price admission after 5 p.m.

The Vancouver Motorcycle Show runs Jan. 17-20 at the Tradex Trade and Exhibition Centre, Abbotsford.
