Surrey students mean business
Kirkbride Elementary Grade 7 student Zainab Hussain speaks to a prospective buyer about her custom made picture frames at her school Thursday (March 14).
Students from the school spent six weeks in Power Play Young Entrepreneurs, an educational program targeting money management, financial literacy as well as how to start and develop a business. The program is sponsored by Envision Financial.
The students then held a trade show to offer their creations for sale to parents and school mates.
