Matthew Stuart of Training Wheels Farm was one of the 25 vendors at the opening day of the Surrey Urban Farmers' Market last Wednesday (June 15).

The produce market now runs every Wednesday from 1-6 p.m. outside the North Surrey Recreation Centre, 10275 City Parkway, until Sept 28.

Organizers are seeking vendors who directly grow, raise, create or make the items they sell.

The market will also come to the Canada Day events at the Cloverdale Amphitheatre and the July 16-17 Fusion Festival at Holland Park.
