Cowgirls go wild for Little People of B.C.
The White Rock Chapter of the Valley Women’s Network (VWN) is coordinating a fundraising event to benefit the Little People of British Columbia Society for Short Stature Awareness.
The Society is a non-profit organization for children and adults with a growth disorder or dwarfism. It provides social, emotional, and educational support to the membership and their families; to educate the general public about short stature; to provide a medical board knowledgeable about short stature; and to refer members to various community services and government agencies for additional support.
The VWN White Rock Chapter is planning an event, "Cowgirls Gone Wild," on Saturday, March 3 at the Sunrise Banquet and Conference Centre, 5640 188 St.
The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m., with a buffet at 6 p.m. Tickets are $40 and include dinner, door prizes and entertainment by Kerry-Lee Manuel, Jane Perrett, Joanne Chiasson and more.
Dust off your cowboy hat and boots and join us for some boot-stomping fun while supporting a very worthy cause. Purchase tickets by emailing cowgirlsgonewild2012@gmail.com
