Dylan Rossi, 11, rides his skateboard down a set of stairs at Hippie Mike's ninth-annual Tour de Surrey competition at the Guildford Skateboard Park on Aug. 11.

The next two stops on the tour are on Aug. 25 in Cloverdale (17800-block of 64 Avenue) and Sept. 15 in South Surrey (14601 20 Ave.) Registration is at 11:30 a.m. and the event begins at noon.

Competition categories are Mini (10 and under), Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Girls Only. Admission is $5 or two non-perishable items for the Surrey Food Bank.

Helmets are mandatory.
