Canucks legend Trevor Linden playfully prevents a Mary Jane Shannon Elementary student from getting to the puck during a fun hockey game with some kids at the Surrey school Thursday morning.

Linden also announced a $2,500 donation from the Trevor Linden Foundation that will enable the school to provide boots, shoes, coats, mitts and gloves to the inner-city school students, and to encourage others in the community to do the same for similar schools.
