Deltassisting five ways

Deltassist Family and Community Services has five new groups or workshops starting this month:

• Healthy Relationships and Stress Management: A group for Men and Women, Thursdays at 5-7 p.m. from Jan. 17 to April 4. To register, call 604-594-3455, Ext. 110.

• Addictions Education: A group for people whose lives are affected by substance abuse, Tuesdays from 5-7 p.m. from Jan. 22 to March 12. To register, call 604-594-3455, Ext. 123.

• F.A.I.R. 1 Freedom from Abuse In Relationships: A group for women, Mondays from 5-7 p.m. from Jan. 21 to March 4. To register, call 604-594-3455, Ext. 139 or 152.

• Positive Parenting: A series of workshops for parents of children five to 12 years, Wednesdays from 6-7:15 p.m. from Jan. 23 to March 27. No registration required.

• Survivors of Sexual Abuse: A group for women, Thursdays from 5-7 p.m. from Jan. 24 to Feb. 28. To register call 604-594-3455 ext. 139 or 152

All events will be held at Deltassist, 9097 120 St.
