Discover the art of pysanka
The Ukrainian Women's Association, Surrey branch, has a tradition of sharing an important artistic aspect of Ukrainian culture. The "pysanka" is now widely known and recognized.
This spring the group will hold two workshops where participants can learn the art of "writing pysanky," the beautifully decorated Ukrainian Easter egg.
Workshops will be held Thursday evenings, March 7 and 14, from 6:45-9 p.m. at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre, 13512 108 Ave. Each session is $15. and can be attended individually.
