A run for Megan, a Run For Life

The 12th-annual Run For Life takes place April 13 at Sungod Recreation Centre, 7815 112 St.

All proceeds of the 5K walk/run will go directly to The Canadian Cancer Society and The James Fund for Neuroblastoma Research in memory of Megan McNeil.

The James Fund does research of childhood cancers.

The 5K run starts at 9 a.m. and the free 1K run for kids under 12 starts at 10:30 a.m.

Registration is 8 a.m.

The family event includes food, coffee, water, draw prizes, a fire truck and an energetic Zumba warm-up with Nadi.

Entry forms are available at Sungod Recreation Centre and at the New Balance store, 6345 120 St.
