B.C.'s country stars kick off the Cloverdale Rodeo
This year's Cloverdale Rodeo Kickoff Party is billed as the "Ultimate Barn Dance."
It's presented Thursday, May 17 at the Longhorn Saloon at the fairgrounds, by the B.C. Country Music Association in conjunction with the Cloverdale Rodeo and Exhibition Association and JR-FM.
Performers include The Matinee, Ken McCoy Band and Whiskey Jane, with guest appearances by Todd Richard, AJ Woodworth, DJ Byron James and more.
"We’re extremely pleased to have BCCMA involved this year and believe this will be a tremendous way to start our 2012 Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair and build excitement leading into the long weekend,” says Shannon Claypool, President of the Cloverdale Rodeo & Exhibition Association.
There's a fan appreciation pre-party event from 6:30 to 8 p.m., where fans can meet the BC Country Music Association's "Stars of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow." Get up close to artists such as CCMA award winner Chad Brownlee, Todd Richard, AJ Woodworth, Jaydee Bixby, Angela Kelman (Farmer's Daughter), Kenny Hess, Hayley McLean, The Matinee, Stacey McKitrick and many more.
Tickets available at the door or by calling 604-856-6444. Ticket sales will go to support the B.C. Country Music Association.
