Soulful singing
Monica Neliba sings a Francisco Nunez composition with members of the Surrey Children’s Choir in Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana last Sunday at the Surrey Arts Centre.
The musical event, organized by the Surrey Choral Arts Project Society, featured chamber pieces performed by the Surrey Children’s Choir, Surrey Chamber Choir, Surrey Youth Chorus and Surrey Community Chorus.
Soloists included soprano Heather Pawsey, tenor Christopher Simmons, bass Andrew Greenwood and pianists Jane Hayes and Miri Lee. The performers were conducted by Stephen Horning.
