Spring sing

The Maple Leaf Singers rehearsed last Saturday at the Newton Cultural Centre for their annual spring show, Seize the Day, that takes place next weekend in New Westminster.

About a quarter of the 64-member show chorus is from Surrey and Delta and as a registered charity, the group often performs at local seniors' residences, churches, community centres and special events.

The concert is at 8 p.m. on May 26 and 2 p.m. on May 27 at the Massey Theatre, 735 8 Ave. in New Westminster.

Tickets are $20 for general admission or $18 for seniors and students. For tickets, call 604-520-3337 or email tickets@maple-leaf-singers.com
