The children who would sing
Young People’s Opera Society of B.C. (YPOSBC) president and musical director George Austin led a group of youngsters in the children’s chorus of the play The King Who Wouldn’t Sing at the Newton Cultural Centre on Tuesday.
The kids were offered acting and singing instruction in the free one-day YPOSBC workshop, which was sponsored by Kidsworld, a children-and-parents activity program with free summer events.
