Artists and artisans show their wares
Whether it’s colourful blown glass, unique handcrafted jewelry, turned wood or original art greeting cards, the items you’ll find at the gift shop at the Surrey Art Gallery are always one-of-a-kind.
The shop, run by the Surrey Art Gallery Association (SAGA), is holding its annual Show & Sale this weekend. For two days, Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Dec. 2 from 12 to 4 p.m., a variety of work from more than 20 artists from around the Lower Mainland will be available to view and purchase. Pottery, artisan soaps, original paintings and fabric art will also be in the mix.
During the sale, all items will be reduced by 10 per cent and no HST will be charged. Members of SAGA receive a 15 per cent discount.
The Show & Sale is at the Surrey Arts Centre, 13750 88 Ave. For more information, call 604-501-5187.
