In Theatres: 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson

Entering theatres this week is Disney's collaboration with comic book mogul Marvel – Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The film, which has received overwhelmingly positive reviews in its pre-release (87% on Rotten Tomatoes), stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, aka Captain America.

Also starring is Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as the Falcon, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

In theatres this week, as well are two Canadian-made films – horror-slash-travel click Afflicted, and Cas & Dylan, a road trip movie starring Academy Award winner Richard Dreyfuss and Tatiana Maslany, directed by former 90210 star Jason Priestly.

(*Dreyfuss is no rookie to Canadian films – he starred in 1974's screen adaptation of The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz, based off Mordecai Richler's famous novel.)
