One-act plays take Surrey stage

Winners of the Youth Arts Council of Surrey’s one-act play competition will be brought to stage this weekend.

“Write On!” takes place May 17, 7-9:30 p.m. at the Newton Cultural Centre (13530 72 Ave.) The evening will feature The Presidency, by Caitlin Kinsella and Nicole Mathieson and Font University, by Sargil Tongol. The event will also spotlight special guest performances by Magic of Billy Hsueh and Switch to Black.
