Singer croons in Surrey as part of jazz vespers series

The next concert in the ongoing Jazz Vespers 'Music for the Soul' series in Surrey is Steve Maddock.

Maddock is considered one of Canada'a most versatile singers, actors and composers, performing with everything from 65-piece orchestras in large venues to jazz trios in intimate clubs. He's also starred in musicals, such as Arts Club Theatre Company's production of Beauty and The Beast and Footlight Theatre's The Sound of Music.

The Surrey concert (admission by donation) takes place at Northwood United Church, 8855 156 St. The show takes place June 8, 4 p.m., with money made benefiting street mission work to help single parent families and others in need.
