Golf tourney raises $45K
G&F Financial Group’s (G&F) 2011 annual golf tournament and charity raffle raised $45,100 for SOS Children’s Village BC (SOS BC), a Surrey-based charity providing community-based care programs for foster children and their families.
More than 120 participants gathered at Riverway Golf Course in Burnaby for a day of friendly competition and on-course activities.
It is G&F’s third consecutive year of partnership with SOS BC.
Since the start of the partnership, total funds raised for the charity total more than $89,000.
SOS BC provides community-based family care services to improve and sustain the quality of life for foster children and foster families through a variety of programs that addresses social development and healing.
The organization is headquartered in Surrey.
