Robber nabbed
The man who robbed a Delta financial institution on Monday didn’t get very far.
The holdup took place in the 8000 block of 120 Street around 4:30 p.m. when a man showed a handgun to a teller who gave him cash.
He fled in a black SUV.
It turned out a similar hold-up had been reported in Surrey earlier the same day.
Working together, Delta Police and Surrey RCMP tracked the suspect down and arrested a 43-year-old man in Surrey a few hours later.
