Delta hit and run

The driver of a Honda CRV fled the scene after hitting a pedestrian early last Friday morning in North Delta.

The collision occurred about 7 a.m. in the 9800 block of River Road.

The victim, a 53-year-old man, was rushed to hospital for treatment of serious chest injuries.

Delta Police tracked the Honda to Surrey.

One person was arrested and the vehicle was seized.
