Body found in Surrey identified

Police are looking for additional information regarding the death of a woman weeks ago in Fleetwood.

On Monday, Feb. 21 at about 10:20 p.m. the body of Ernestine Ann-Marie Gagnon, was found in the area of 92 Avenue and 144 Street.

She is described as a 37-year-old Caucasian, with blond hair, wearing jeans and a white winter coat. Prior to her death, police say she may have been "engaged in a high-risk activity."

Police are now looking to speak with anyone who may have had contact with Gagnon in the hours leading to her death.
