Teen stabbed at SkyTrain station

A fight that broke out on a moving SkyTrain on Saturday has resulted in a young man being stabbed.

A fist fight between two men spilled out onto the platform at Surrey Central Skytrain Station where it escalated.

One of them, in his late teens, sustained multiple stab wounds.

He was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but is now in stable condition.

Police have one man in custody, but there is no word yet on charges.

Investigators are asking any witnesses who have not spoken to police to come forward. Police will be reviewing surveillance video from the SkyTrain station.
