Four arrested in armed assault

Four people have been arrested in relation to an assault with weapons in Surrey.

At approximately 10:30 p.m. Tuesday (July 26) at a home near 112 Avenue and 143A Street, Surrey RCMP responded to multiple calls about a large altercation taking place on the front lawn.

Police arrested four people and several persons were transported to hospital with minor and non-life threatening injures, including cuts and exposure to pepper spay.

The victims range from young children to adults.

Police believe this is a targeted incident involving an ongoing dispute between family members of the residence and other individuals.
