A 50-year-old man has been stabbed in the leg and is bleeding badly in a North Surrey smoke shop.

Reports indicate the man was in Hero's Smoke Shop at 13454 108 Avenue when he got into an altercation with another man and was stabbed.

It's believed the man was hit in an artery and suffered a good deal of blood loss. He was taken to hospital, where he was treated and is expected to make a full recovery.

Police say the injured man is not cooperating with the police investigation.
