Senior on scooter struck

Rescue crews tended to an elderly male who was struck by a car while crossing the street on a motorized scooter near Scottsdale Centre on Saturday.

Police interviewed the driver, who remained at the scene with her damaged car in the southbound lane of 120 Street.

The victim was later released from hospital with minor head injuries.

Delta Police are investigating the incident.
