Homes seized in Delta grow-op raids
Two alleged grow-ops have been raided by police in Delta, exposing a pair of crops that yielded more than 2,600 plants, according to Delta Police.
On Oct. 20, two homes in North Delta were raided, the first in the 8600 block of Delcrest Drive, where 140 plants were found, and the other in the 10700 block of Doncaster Crescent where 2,341 plants were found.
Police say the combined value of the marijuana plants seized is about $160,000.
As a result of this investigation, the two homes have been seized under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and four people have been charged.
The four Delta people charged in connection with the raids are Lam Son Nguyen, 46, Ngoc Thi Nguyen, 42, Hoang Nguyen, 48 and Huong Thi Xuan Bui.
