Surrey RCMP seeking missing teen

Mounties are requesting public assistance in finding a missing female teenager.

Megan Watts was reported missing on Jan. 21 and was last seen at her home in the 6300-block of 126 Street.

Watts is described as an Aboriginal female, 14 years old, 5’9”, 140 lbs, with hazel eyes and short brown hair (photo attached). No clothing description is available however she may be carrying a brown backpack and wearing black winter boots. Watts is known to frequent the downtown eastside area of Vancouver and has been known to travel to Alberta and Ontario.

Police and family are concerned for her well-being as she has no means to legitimately support herself.

Anyone who has information about the whereabouts of this person is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP’s Missing Persons Unit at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers, if they wish to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-TIPS.
