Police still searching for former Tsawwassen man
Delta Police say there is still no sign of an alleged sex offender, formerly of Tsawwassen, who skipped his court date on June 11.
Vancouver resident Jamieson Richard (Rick) Glendinning was due in Surrey Provincial Court for the start of his trial on nine criminal counts including sexual assault, indecent assault and gross indecency. A warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to appear.
"At this point there is no update," said Delta Police spokesperson Cst. Ciaran Feenan. "We are still actively looking for him."
Glendinning was involved with the Tsawwassen Amateur Baseball Association between 1985 and 1995.
Feenan said anyone with information about Glendinning's whereabouts should contact Delta Police at 604-946-4411.
