Update: Two suffer minor injuries in rollover accident on Ladner Trunk Road
A pair of 26-year-old Surrey residents suffered non-life threatening injuries after their car ended up in a ditch along Ladner Trunk Rd. in East Delta early Tuesday morning (Aug. 21).
According to Delta Police, the four-door, blue compact the two were in was rear-ended by a white truck just west of 104th Street around 8 a.m. and pushed into the ditch on the north side of the road.
The incident caused Ladner Trunk Rd. to be closed to morning rush hour traffic between the Hwy. 91 on ramp and 96th Street for several hours as investigators on scene took measurements and photographs of skid marks on the asphalt.
The two occupants of the car were transported to Surrey Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the white truck was not injured.
