Surrey man in hospital after being shot in stomach
A 53-year-old man is listed in critical condition in hospital after being shot in the stomach Tuesday evening.
Police were called to a home in the 8600 block of 155 Street at about 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13. They found the injured man who had apparently been in a fight with four other men in his back yard.
The other men all fled before police arrived and descriptions of the suspects were vague. It is unclear if the man who was shot knew the others.
Police say the victim is familiar to them due to his lengthy record and they say there was another male occupant of the house who is not being cooperative.
