Man stabbed near SkyTrain station
Surrey RCMP are continuing to investigate after a man was stabbed Monday evening near the Scott Road SkyTrain station.
Police received a 911 call at about 9:45 p.m. and located a victim near the station in the 12500 block of 110 Avenue. The man had been stabbed once in the back and once in an arm.
Mounties recovered an edged weapon from the scene.
"Obviously, we're trying to locate the other people involved," said Surrey RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Roger Morrow.
The victim, who was taken to an area hospital, is not co-operating with police.
"After viewing video from the area, it appears the victim was the aggressor," Morrow said.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
