UPDATE: Missing woman located
UPDATE: Surrey RCMP confirmed Thursday (Dec. 20) that Jennifer Esson has been located
Story posted Dec. 4:
Surrey RCMP are looking for a woman who hasn't been heard from since the beginning of October.
Police say 31-year-old Jennifer Esson was reported missing Nov. 26 when she failed to show up in Edmonton, from where she was supposed to travel back to B.C.
Her family and friends are concerned as she hasn't been seen since Oct. 8.
Police believe she may be in the Surrey area, perhaps seeking drug and alcohol addiction treatment. She may also be in the presence of a woman named Charlene Sakamoto, who police believe is an "associate."
Esson is described as 5'2" tall, 126 pounds with blue eyes and brown/red hair.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers, if you wish to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-TIPS.
