Woman dies after crashing into water-filled ditch
A woman is dead after an accident in Delta last Friday.
At 5:40 a.m. on Feb. 8, Delta police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at the entrance to John Oliver Park, at 11499 Ladner Trunk Rd.
When police arrived, they found that a vehicle had gone off the road and was submerged in a water-filled ditch.
Both the driver and the passenger were taken to Royal Columbian Hospital where the 31-year-old female driver died.
The 29-year-old female passenger was treated at hospital and later released.
The investigation into the cause of the accident is still ongoing.
