Fraser Health board meets tonight
The public will get a chance to quiz the Fraser Health Authority board chair and CEO tonight in White Rock.
The FHA board of directors is holding a public board meeting – one of just three or four a year that rotate around the region – at Peace Arch Hospital May 22.
New president and CEO Dr. Nigel Murray will give an update on his progress on key initiatives since taking the helm of the authority last September.
The board oversees the authority's $2.2 billion budget and services provided at 12 hospitals with 23,000 employees, more than 5,000 volunteers and 2,300 doctors.
The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at the lecture room in Peace Arch Hospital.
