A 15-year-old male is in hospital following an altercation on a Surrey bus.

A witness stated the victim was involved a melee with three others at the back of bus as it was heading northbound through Newton on King George Boulevard at about 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The bus stopped near the Real Canadian Superstore, but as police arrived, there were no suspects or victims on the scene.

The victim was found walking near the 7600-block of 140 Street and was taken away by ambulance. His injury was not life-threatening.
