A 30-year-old Delta man has now been charged in connection with a violent crime spree that started in Richmond with a rear-end collision on Highway 99, and ended in Surrey Sunday night with his arrest.

Jonathan Leblanc has been charged with robbery and assault with a weapon for a robbery that took place at the TD Bank on Victoria Drive in Vancouver on Sunday night.

Investigators are continuing to investigate a collision on Victoria Drive, an attempted car-jacking on Victoria Drive, and a carjacking at an Esso Gas Station.

The owner of a Deerfield Crescent home in Richmond was stabbed in the heart during a violent home invasion involving a carjacker, near the start of the multi-city crime spree Sunday night. After some life-saving surgery, Mounties said Monday afternoon that the homeowner is in stable but serious condition.

Leblanc was scheduled to appear in Vancouver provincial court on Tuesday morning.
