A family fears for the safety of a 16-year-old who has been missing for almost two weeks.

Surrey RCMP is asking for public helping finding Savannah Pederson, who was last seen in the 14700-block of 88 Avenue on Dec. 28, 2013.

She is described as a black female, 5’4", 161 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black and white tights, a black hoody, black boots, and a white head band.

Pederson is known to be involved in high risk activities, however, police and family are concerned about her well-being and safety due to her young age and length of time she has been missing. She is known to frequent the Surrey area as well as Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

If you know her whereabouts, please contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502, or Crime Stoppers, at 1-800-222-8477 quoting file number 2013-171602.
