New Bridgeview traffic trapping residents

I live in Bridgeview, and I have been here eight years.

I would like to comment on the traffic on Bridgeview Drive.

Since the Port Mann got tolled, the traffic has tripled. It is a nightmare getting out of the area. From 128 Street to go onto Bridgeview Drive, if you are not aggressive you could wait 20 minutes before anyone lets you go.

There is a stop sign on 128 Street so we have to wait for someone to let us in.

Everyone is in such a hurry they block the intersection so you can not get away.

I would like to ask drivers not to block the intersection – we need to leave the area too. Don’t be in such a hurry. We all get where we have to go.

The city had a sign up asking motorists not to block the intersection, but it was taken down for some reason.

Maybe it should go back up.

The city also took the light out on 115 Avenue and Bridgeview Drive and that is also a nightmare.  That light should have never been taken out.
