The Vancouver rioters are an example of a spoiled, binge-drinking generation raised on violent movies, foul language and filthy music.

Garbage in, garbage out! No respect for themselves or others.

Why do you think most of them didn’t care they were being filmed as they looted and damaged? Well because they know nothing or little will happen to those identified and caught. Perhaps a slap on the wrist? A few hours of community service? Mom and dad will pay for their lawyer and the rest of us law-abiding citizens will pay for the police service, court service, clean-up and all other related costs.

What ever happened to paying the consequences for your actions?

Karen Campbell
