LETTER: Story brought back memories

I just read your Santa in Surrey story online, and it brought to mind all the times as a little boy that my mother would take me to the mall to have my picture taken with Santa.

The excitement that he would be visiting my house soon and it was my last chance to update him as to what I would like waiting for me under the tree.

As I get ready for a Christmas, alone and 2,000 miles from home, I thank you.

I thank you for putting cherished Christmas memories back into my mind, a tear to my eye and the Christmas spirit back into my heart.
