Panthers finish season unbeaten
The Cloverdale Panthers completed a perfect season Saturday in Langley, defeating the Mission Niners 48-0 in the B.C. Minor Football’s Atom division championship game
The Panthers won all 10 league games, then reeled off five consecutive postseason wins. They also won preseason tournaments in Maple Ridge and Cloverdale.
Walker Erickson led the offense with three touchdowns. Harshaad Jouhal and Logan Walsh added one each while Himmat Aujla caught a pass from Jaeden Reid for the sixth major. Terrel Jones was perfect on the six extra point attempts. Taran Birdi, Nathan Sawyer and Gage Mack were all very strong on defense.
