Kendra Goodman of the Surrey Storm will be joining the Simon Fraser University Clan (SFU) women's softball team.

"Kendra brings a wealth of talent and potential to the Clan," said SFU head coach Mike Renney of the left-hand hitting outfielder. "She comes from a quality program that will have no doubt prepared her for the challenges that university ball will bring."

Last season an eventful one for Goodman, capturing second place at the 18-and-under Canadian championships, and finishing third at the provincial championships.

“Next year I just want to contribute. No matter what is asked of me I need to seize the opportunity and make the most of it," said Goodman. "I understand that not many athletes get the chance I have. I am really looking forward to taking my game to the next level under coach Renney."
