The Surrey Minor Peewee A1 Thunder came away with the gold medals in the Platinum Division during the 54th annual Chilliwack Christmas Tournament.

The Thunder came out on top 7-4 in the final game versus Semiahmoo A1. The Thunder were four and two losses in the round robin portion, against teams from the Lower Mainland and Seattle.

This championship follows the Thunder's recent gold medal victory in the Gold Division at the Portland Turkey Tournament, which took place during the U.S. Thanksgiving weekend.

The Thunder went undefeated, coming out on top against teams from Portland, California, and the Lower Mainland.

The Thunder also came away with the silver in the Gold Division at the Seafair Ice Breaker Tournament, which took place during the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.
