Mantle to join Wranglers
Ashton Mantle has accepted a baseball scholarship offer, and will play next fall for the Odessa College Wranglers in Texas.
Mantle currently attends Sullivan Heights Secondary, and is a six-foot-three left-handed pitcher going into his fourth season with the Langley Blaze of the B.C. Premier Baseball League.
He pitched in five games last season, collecting eight strikeouts in 11.2 innings.
